Last week I ordered a sample from Estee Lauder for their new fragrance, Modern Muse. The envelope the sample came in got me so excited to try it, it's a gorgeous pastel pink and everything inside followed the same colour scheme.

I've never really owned much from the brand aside from nail varnish sets for christmas, that was until my housemate bought one of their facial scrubs and clued me in.

REAL TECHNIQUES BRUSHES

I've heard so much about how amazing these brushes are especially for the price, but there are so many different brushes that you could end up spending a lot of money! One of my favourite bloggers (llymlrs) recently put up a post with these brushes and the word 'CHEAP' in the title, naturally I headed to her blog to see what she had to say.

iherb is an american site that sells a huge range of things and yes, you guessed it, Real Techniques. For some reason Real Techniques brushes have always been cheaper in America but it seems like such a fuss ordering them all the way from there when you could just pop down to Boots. That's where you're wrong.

My 21st's

Since going away to university I've had the pleasure of always having classes on my birthday, snore! Now I'm in my final year and someone upstairs has decided to give me the day off, and it's my 21st. Amazing. Unfortunately I still had to be away from all my family, so somewhat unconventionally I've managed to have a number of 21st's this year.

Unlike all of my birthdays I was actually looking forward to this one. I don't know how to explain it but for some reason I felt ready to turn 21, I feel ready to be 21. Parties and drunken family aside I've had an amazing birthday month, I've been spoilt rotten and eaten so much cake! Considering my actual birthday was over two weeks ago, the amount of cake I still have left is disgustingly shocking.
